This hotel is completely non smoking. We do not allow smoking in our rooms, public areas or the restaurant.

We offer complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access in all guest rooms and public spaces with Kimpton InTouch membership.

Do you have high-speed wired and/or wireless internet access available?
Answer
Only wireless internet access is available throughout the hotel and guestrooms.

On-site free fitness facility with state of the art cardiovascular equipment, Universal gym and free weights from 6 am – 10 pm

We have room service from our award-winning Union Square restaurant, Postrio. A full breakfast menu is offering from 7 till 10 each morning, with lighter fare also available from 6 am to 7 am as well. For lunch and dinner, the café menu is then available for in-room dining from 11:30 am till 11:30 pm daily.

Do you have onsite parking? How much is parking? Is it included in my room rate?

We offer valet parking at the hotel for $44 per vehicle per night and $49 for oversized vehicles. We also offer a 25% discount on hybrid vehicles. The parking charge is an additional charge to the room rate and is not included unless otherwise noted in the package

Will your rooms allow rollaways/cribs/playards? Is there a charge?
Answer
Yes, some of our rooms will accommodate rollaways and cribs. Due to fire codes, we cannot make them available for all rooms. The cost of a rollaway is $20 per night.

I booked on a website other than the hotel website and I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?
Answer
You need to contact the channel through which you made your reservation.

What is the minimum age requirement to check in to the room?
Answer
You must be 18 years of age with a valid ID to check in to the hotel. All alcoholic beverages will be removed from your honor bar at the time of check in.

What is your cancellation/deposit policy?
Answer
We require a credit card at the time of booking. You must cancel outside of 24 hours prior to arrival (6 pm local hotel time) to avoid a one night's room and tax to your card. Please note that for special rates, packages and certain seasons, this policy is subject to change.

A valid ID is required at the time of check in.

What age do kids stay for free?

Kids 17 and under stay for free in existing bedding when accompanying an adult.

We have some connecting rooms at the hotel. You may make a request for connecting rooms; however, they are not guaranteed.

Do you have ADA rooms?
Answer
We have ADA rooms at the hotel. We have some rooms with roll-in showers, wider doors and we have wheelchairs and bath chairs available for your convenience. If you have special needs and would like to get a guaranteed ADA room, please contact the hotel.

Do you have an early departure fee?

Yes, an early departure fee in an amount of up to one night's room and tax may apply.

What are the hours of the restaurant/bar/lounge?

Breakfast: 7 am – 10 am
Lunch and Dinner served daily in the bar/café: 11:30 am until closing
No Reservations are accepted for breakfast, lunch or dinner
Bar: Daily, 11:30 am – closing with café menu (extended menu 11:30 am – 4 pm)

You may contact the hotel at 415.563.0303 and ask for the accounting department.

What forms of payment are accepted to pay for my room?
Answer
We accept all major credit cards. When you check in to the hotel, we will hold the full room and tax total, plus $100 for honor bar and restaurant charges. These charges will be released from your account within 5 days after check out. We do not accept checks or cash.

Pets

Are pets allowed? Are there restrictions for weight, height or types?
Answer
Yes, pets are allowed at the hotel with no restrictions for those on our pet friendly floors.

Do you have pet free rooms for those with allergies?
Answer
We do not have specifically designated pet free rooms; however, we do clean our rooms with HEPA-filter vacuums.

Do you have pet sitting or dog walking services?
Answer
We do not provide pet sitting or dog walking services on property; however, we have recommendations for outside parties at a charge.

How far do you have to walk to take your pet out?
Answer
We are located 1.3 mi from the nearest dog park (Alamo Square).
